Dye Loc actually locks fugitive dye-stuff at the molecular level without affecting the light fastness of the dye.

For fabrics that bleed instantly, prespray with Dye-Loc before beginning the cleaning procedure. To prevent delayed bleeding on carpets or fabrics, use it as a final rinse.
